[Le loup means in English The Wolf] This is an important book that can save lives. The title is a metaphor symbolizing the sexual abuser. The paperback was written by a woman who herself suffered incest during her childhood. The authoress does not discuss her personal experience in the book, but her story offers hope because she managed to survive. The writeress is committed to child protection with the support of, among others, the collective of associations Prévenir et Protéger (Prevent and Protect), the Pact for Childhood of the Ministries of Health and National Education, UNICEF, and CIIVISE1.
The book, penned for children, aims to be preventative. Kids who read this book will understand that their bodies must be respected and that they have the right to say no to anyone who asks them to do things that make them uncomfortable.
